Real Madrid record signing Gareth Bale has hit back at the Bernabeu’s
boo-boys after he fired home two first-half goals against Levante on
Sunday night.
The Welshman has had a to deal with a lot of criticism from the home
supporters in recent weeks, especially after failing to score a goal in
his previous nine matches.
His first goal was scored when he drove home a rebound after Ronaldo's bicycle kick which was cleared off the line.
Bale celebrated the goal by covering his ears while he ran across to
the corner flag, where he ended up being hugged by his teammates –
excluding Ronaldo, who seemingly showed his frustration that his effort
didn't go in despite Bale subsequently scoring the lead.
After all the congratulations from his teammates, Bale unleashed all his built up fustration by kicking the corner flag.
The celebration was a clear indication to the amount of pressure Bale
was under at the Bernabeu after suffering the longest goal drough since
joining them.
The Welshman also scored Real Madrid's second goal of the night after
deflecting a Ronaldo shot, with many celebrating Ronaldo as the goal
scorer.
Even Ronaldo himself and the stadium speaker thought the Portuguese had
scored, but it was later confirmed that Bale's touch deflected the shot
 into goal.
Real Madrid face Barcelona on Sunday in El Clasico and with the league
tightly contested, Bale's new found form might have just come at the
right time.
