Gent of Belgium revelation Moses Simon says he is ready to take his
chances with the Nigeria senior national team if called up by the
handlers, for the next two friendly games against Bolivia and South
Africa.
The 19 year old was reacting to news making rounds in the Nigeria
media, that he might be called up to the Super Eagles following a fine
start to his career in Belgium playing for Gent, where he has picked up
five man of the match awards from the 8 games he has played where he
scored six times.
Nicknamed the "Nigerian Ronaldo" the Kaduna born teen was stopped from
participating at the ongoing Africa Youth Championship by his new side
who wanted him to settle down, after his move from Slovakia AS Trencin.
'I know I belong to the age group category but if I get called up to
the senior national team I will by the grace of God grab it with both
hands and make it count" He told SL10.ng
Ajala, like he is called by his close friends was a part of the Nigeria
team to the last Under-20 World cup and this time around he says he is
confident the Manu Garba lead team, will qualify for the World cup by
lifting the Africa Youth Championship.
"No doubt in my mind that they will qualify there is quality in the
team all round and for that reason I expect them to qualify in style,
for the World cup by lifting the Africa Youth Championship"
